WHAT IS THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT?
The Holy Spirit and Us:
The Bible calls Spirit-led behavior the “fruit of the Spirit.” The fruit of the Spirit has visible results. Scripture lists the fruit of the Spirit in the letter to the Galatians. Paul wrote the following.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22, 23 ESV).
These qualities begin to show themselves in a person’s life who is filled with the Spirit. This produces a Christlike character in the individual.
